BISCUITS AND DAILY LIFE: A LITTLE GIRL HANDED POPE LEO XIV A BISCUIT AND HE ATE IT!
We’ve already emphasized on other occasions how biscuits are part of our daily lives, so much so that they’ve been featured in many pages of international literature as everyday food, an element that accompanies us during our breaks, alone or in company, a silent and discreet protagonist of our lives. Recent events include the story of a young girl who approached Pope Leo XIV and offered him a biscuit, which the Pope ate without hesitation. With this gesture, a small piece of cooked dough has become the instrument of a message of humanity that brought the Pope closer to the common people. Going beyond any religion, we, as professionals, wonder what kind of biscuit it was? What brand? Most likely it was a baby’s biscuit… Whatever the type of biscuit, we once again confirm that behind the work of technologists, engineers, and R&D lies the creation of something special, simple yet deep, able to awake our sensitivity. And we are proud to be part of this production process by creating, through our moulds, a fundamental tool for making biscuits for the whole world!
